GETTING HERE
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
Blackbushe is located next to the west of London, just 2 miles from Junction 4A of the M3 Motorway.
By road we are 45 minutes to central London and a much more efficient alternative to other aerodromes such as Farnborough, Luton, Biggin Hill, and Oxford who are often located further from motorway connections, or have long aircraft taxy times.

FROM LONDON
Use the M3 Motorway to Junction 4A.
Turn left (first exit) at the slip-road roundabout, crossing over the motorway.
Turn left (first exit) at the next roundabout, following A327 towards Yateley / Reading.
After 1.7 miles, at the next roundabout, continue on the A327 (second exit).
Immediately at the next roundabout turn left (first exit), onto the A30.
Blackbushe Airport is on the right after 0.6 miles and is well signposted.
FROM SOUTHAMPTON / THE SOUTH COAST
Use the M3 Motorway to Junction 4A.
Proceed straight ahead (second exit) at the slip-road roundabout, following A327 towards Yateley / Reading,
After 1.7 miles, at the next roundabout, continue on the A327 (second exit).
Immediately at the next roundabout turn left (first exit), onto the A30.
Blackbushe Airport is on the right after 0.6 miles and is well signposted.
FROM reading / the midlands
Use the M4 Motorway to Junction 11
Take the A33 south for 4.8 miles until the Duke of Wellington statue
Follow the B3011 for 4.4 miles to Hartley Wintney
Turn left onto the A30, through the village and up the hill to Blackbushe.
Continue past the roundabout at the entrance to British Car Auctions, we are the next left and signposted clearly.
CAR PARKING
Blackbushe Airport has private parking for up to 200 vehicles, which is provided for the benefit of pilots, passengers, and users of the Pathfinder Cafe.
Whilst we are aware that some people may use the car park for access to Yateley Common, this is not the purpose of the airport car park, and other public car parks are available.
There is no charge for the use of the airport car park during the airport opening hours, which are usually 07:00-18:00. Outside of these times the entrance gates will be locked. As Blackbushe sometimes has variable opening hours, the gates may be open beyond 18:00 local, but will be closed when staff leave the site. During seasonal hours, the gates may close before 18:00, refer to seasonal signage.
Any vehicles are left at the owner’s risk and Blackbushe Airport Ltd does not accept any responsibility for any damage or theft of vehicles.
Overnight Parking
Overnight parking is permitted for pilots and their passengers, again free of charge. If you’re planning on leaving your vehicle for an extended period, we ask that you contact us to inform us of this, so we can ensure it is parked in a suitable place that will not obstruct other uses of the car park.

Locked Gates
Our gates are locked overnight to ensure the security of the airport site. Authorised users have the combination code for the main entrance gate, but this is not something we share publicly.
We have plenty of signage around the car park notifying the closure time, however if you miss these, and return to your vehicle locked in then you have two options:
You may leave your vehicle in the car park overnight, and return to collect it from 06:30. Pedestrian access is possible to the east and through Yateley Common.
You can pay a £100 release fee using the website. On receipt of your payment, you will be emailed the gate code to allow you to exit the car park. Please lock it on leaving. The £100 fee covers the time and inconvenience to us for changing the lock code the following morning, and communicating it to our stakeholders.
Blackbushe Airport makes its car park available to the public for parking during the airport’s opening hours. These are typically 07:00-18:00 daily, although the gates may be open at other times, if the airport is operating.
If your vehicle is locked into the car park after we have closed, there is a £100 release fee. Once you have paid the fee, we will send you the code for the gate, and you are required to lock it again after yourself. We will then need to change the code the following day, and to notify all of our authorised users of the new combination. This fee covers the time and inconvenience we experience in doing this.
BY RAIL
LONDON WATERLOO / BASINGSTOKE main LINE
Blackbushe is well placed on the mainline from London Waterloo to Basingstoke and beyond. South Western Railway operate fast trains and stopper services every 10 minutes or so. The closest station is Fleet, but Farnborough Main is also close depending on the train service. Both stations have taxi ranks which can have you at Blackbushe in 5-10 minutes.
reading / guildford line
Just 5 minutes away is Blackwater station which is served by the Reading to Guildford line. Some trains also operate as far as Gatwick Airport. Most services from the Midlands or North stop at Reading and so reaching Blackbushe is just one change.
Blackwater doesn’t have a taxi rank, so please make sure you book onward transportation in advance of your arrival.
